The Concordia Food Coalition currently hosts two major annual popular education events throughout the academic year. Our first, which takes place during the fall semester orientation is Bite ME!, a week long event series which aims to introduce new and returning students as well as Concordia community members to an intersectional understanding of food politics. The second is Concordia Transitions, a conference which takes place during the winter semester and aims to turn the lessons learned during Bite ME! into action by creating an accessible space to learn about food politics, network with like minded folks and organizations, and explore dynamic ideas to change our food systems.
Our community calendar is currently under construction. Please stay tuned!
If you or your organization has an event related to changing our food systems and you believe it matches the Concordia Food Coalition’s mandate please send an e-mail to externalconcordiafoodcoalition[@]gmail.com and we’d be happy to share!
