Concordia Transitions Conference

SOCIAL: N/A

ADDRESS: Formally at Concordia University

CLOSED

Concordia Transitions was an annual conference that ran from 2014 – 2019. Concordia Transitions Conference was an interactive conference on urban agriculture and alternative economics to help build a vibrant and sustainable food system at Concordia University for students — by students.

Transitions is aiming to open up the minds of the Concordia community, through practical examples, to collectively imagine a new economic reality away from the multinational corporate food system we currently have. We will have workshops exploring the past, present and future of Concordia’s food system. Additionally we plan to introduce various successful Montreal food groups as well as showcasing existing student-initiatives along with workshops, panels and a variety of other activities to promote holistic experiential learning.
