Le Frigo Vert is an anti-capitalist alternative health and community space. Frigo Vert started in 1997 as a Healthfood store, specializing in organic health food. In 2018 they moved to their current location 1440 Rue Mackay. Today Frigo Vert offers services to the community that range from herbal medicine consultations, free workshops and education. Frigo aims to challenge health food culture by rejecting trends and viewing health more holistically, as well as supporting those who don’t normally have enough money to access certain products or health-related services. They also provide PWTC food Baskets available every Monday while supplies last.

Our office is located in the Z Annex, along with Sustainable Concordia and the Sustainability Action Fund @ 2090 Mackay (Montreal, Quebec, H3G 2J1). Please note our offices are not wheelchair accessible. We are located on the second floor of the Z-Annex up two flights of stairs. If you would like to set-up a meeting with us in a wheelchair accessible location please reach out to us at: info@concordiafoodcoalition.com The Z-Annex is equipped with two gender neutral bathrooms, and is a shared space with other student groups and the Multi-Faith Spiritual Centre.
