The CJ Terrace Garden Project is a novel garden at Loyola campus that aims to renew an underutilized garden site atop the BookStop.

Our mission is two-fold: To increase native biodiversity through planting native perennials that foster pollinator populations; To contribute to the circular food system at Concordia by growing food crops for donation at the end of the growing season.

This project is also considered a ‘green roof’ offering a one-of-a-kind opportunity for growing in the built environment.

Interested in getting involved? Check out our listing on Concordia University’s volunteer database.

No experience required, but there will be a short training for new volunteers.

The CJ Terrace is a public space on campus, so it is open at all times.

Volunteer hours on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:00am to 1:00pm until the end of October.
